About A Day's Wage
We believe everyone deserves to understand their worth. A Day's Wage was created to empower individuals by providing a clear, quantifiable measure of their compensation in the UK job market.
Our Story: Empowering Through Transparency
Hi, I'm Peter Hart, the founder of A Day's Wage. My journey to create this platform stems from a deeply held belief: knowledge is power. For years, I've seen how a lack of clear salary insight can leave individuals feeling undervalued or unsure of their true market worth. I wanted to build a tool that demystifies compensation, making it easy for anyone to quantify and measure their wage.
I chose to focus on the "day's wage" because I feel it's an incredibly intuitive and relatable metric. Breaking down complex annual figures into a simple daily equivalent makes it far easier for people to truly grasp their earning power and compare it meaningfully with others.
About the Founder
My background is rooted in both practical business and academic pursuit. I'm currently studying for a BSc (Hons) degree in Computing, which provides the technical foundation for building robust and insightful platforms like A Day's Wage. Prior to this, I've had the privilege of running a multi-company business, successfully selling millions of pounds worth of stock over the years.
This combination of hands-on commercial experience and a deep dive into computing principles fuels my passion for creating solutions that genuinely benefit people.
Our Vision: Realising Your Worth
At A Day's Wage, our vision is simple yet profound: by making a person's wage easy to understand and measure, we hope that individuals will realise their worth and be driven to make sure they get more from their working life. We aim to foster a job market where transparency leads to fairness, and where everyone feels empowered to advocate for the compensation they deserve.
Thank you for being a part of this journey. Your contribution helps build a more equitable future for all.
